16 Nov THE WORLD AT YOUR FINGERS
At the start of GLA, and specifically, the introduction of the digital class (technology), some students’ knowledge was limited on how to use a laptop and they might not have had the privilege to work with laptops.
The first few weeks were a struggle and some of the students’ confidence was somewhat lacking. We started with the basics, and as time went along you could see the growth happening. They became more confident, weren’t afraid to ask questions and they even have personal blogs and websites for their social projects. They have successfully become more and more computer literate all because they had two things going for them, which were patience and eagerness. Knowing that technology is at their fingertips they developed a passion for it with some even wanting to go into the Information Technology sector. Technology is always evolving and changing aspects of life.
