The morning started off with ‘drill sergeant’ Bradly Naidoo putting the recruits through a few activities/drills to get them ready for the day. A few late comers were given a penalty of 20 push-ups by the drill sergeant. Despite the recruits being drilled by the drill sergeant they entered the building with the same excitement they had on day one. Monique Ross and Rene Parker gave the recruits the fist session of the day taking them through the social media platforms and showing them how they can use the power of the internet to communicate and connect with people all over the world. They were given a sheet with a list of social media icons and had to mention 3 things they knew about each of the icons they ended off by letting the recruits sign up on twitter and letting them follow @Grow_ZA and @RLabs .
The recruits enjoyed a lovely lunch with Augustine Mutale entertaining them with some music. Judith Middleton from Duo marketing gave the recruits a talk on communicating effectively through the social media platforms, “Don’t vomit, think before you write” she advised them. She gave useful tips on how to conduct yourself properly when involved in corporate companies. “Be plain, simple and straight to the point”. She explained that in this way you get things done, people understand you and you don’t waist any time on unnecessary “vomiting”.
Monique Ross ended the day with the recruits going through YouTube and then letting them do a check out.
