As this day comes to an end so does the internship of all RLabs’ 2012 interns. Without a doubt, my time with RLabs has been an absolute blast; it was nothing short of awesome. Although it has not been very long I have received a lot in the time which I spent there. I have become more comfortable (not completely though) with speaking publicly, and this is due to my experience as a co-facilitator (and in some cases even a facilitator) of some of the courses in RLabs’ Academy. Helping out with the Academy has also helped in developing my “people skills,” I have interacted with various people who come from different backgrounds obviously they each have different personalities. What I have learned in this experience is: “the best approach that you can have for anyone is a smile.” Having a smile and being friendly, it is difficult to imagine being friendly and smiling when there is someone who is intentionally trying to aggravate you, but I have come to see that it is always the best option. In closing I just want to thank RLabs for providing me with this unique opportunity to develop myself. “The end of every journey is but the beginning of the next,” until next time all you have to do is “watch this space…”
