Twenty school leavers from Athlone, Khayelitsha and Stellenbosch have successfully completed the five day training.It included Social Media (RLabs), Business Writing (Duo Marketing), Web Design and Development (WooThemes), Search Engine Optimisation (WebGrowth) and Crowdraising (GivenGain).
The aim of the Boot Camp was to develop new talent by utilizing online platforms such as facebook, linkedin, twitter, youtube, wordpress and google analytics. etc
Giving recruits new skills and making them job ready so that they can add value to organisations and companies.
Day 5 ended with the graduation. Recruits from 2011 received their certificates for the completion of their internships at various non-profit organisations. Thereafter the 2012 recruits were awarded with their certificates along with a GivenGain badge for completing Boot Camp at The Grow Academy.

Thembile : I am a learner and a slow one too. Corporals are so professional.I am not happy about leaving.I’ll miss the Drill Sergeant and Corporals dearly.
